"Is Healing By Sound A Myth Or Not?"
Healing sound has been used as a healing therapy for thousands of years, and ancient cultures that survive today, understand the incredible power of sound healing.

The Bible tells us that David played his harp to lift King Saul’s depression, and that Egyptian papyri over 2,600 years old, refers to incantations as healing cures for infertility, and rheumatic pain, the oldest form of healing by sound
The ancient Greeks believed music had the healing power for the body and soul, and used the flute and lyre for treating illnesses such as gout and sciatica.
It is reported that Alexander the Great restored his sanity by music being played on the lyre, and Pythagoras used special songs and incantations with particular melodies and rhythms, to help healing diseases of the body and mind.

Sound healing is the therapeutic application of sound frequencies to the body and mind of an individual, with the intention of bringing them into a state of harmony and health.
Dr Alfred Tomatis the French ear, nose and throat specialist has devoted the last 50 years to understanding the ear and its function, and believed that the ear is the most important of all our sense organs, as the ear controls the body’s sense of balance, rhythm and movement, and is the conductor of the entire nervous system.
Through the medulla, the auditory nerve connects with all the muscles of the body, hence, muscle tone, equilibrium, flexibility, and vision are all affected by sound, and through the vagus nerve, the inner ear connects with the larynx, heart, lungs, stomach, liver, bladder, kidneys, small intestine and large intestine.
"Modern Medicine Now Uses Sound Waves To Break Up Kidney Stones And Gallstones, Commonly Known As Ultra Sound."
Through sound healing it may be possible to bring diseased organs into harmony with the rest of the body, hence avoiding the need for drugs or surgery. |

Listening to Mozart scientists suggest, actually helps to improve our powers of concentration, and enhances our ability to make intuitive steps, by organizing the firing pattern of neurones in the cerebral cortex.
When pregnant mothers listen to Mozart and Vivaldi, the baby’s heart rate invariably steadies, and kicking declines, whilst rock music drove most of the foetuses to distraction, as they kicked violently, not much different to when they become teenagers is it!!
Music is now used to reduce the pain and anxiety of patients undergoing dental and surgical treatment and in a study of 59,000 patients, 97% of them stated that music really helped them to relax in post operative situations, also during surgery in local anaesthesia.
"Having Completed Sound Healing, Most People Reported A Feeling Of Deep Relaxation And An Improvement In The Function Of Their Mind And Body."
Did you also know that students who sing or play a musical instrument at school, score higher in all other subjects than other non-musical students, convincing proof that sound healing works.
